Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Steak and Stein.
First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we’re truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
Second, at Steak and Stein, we’re focused on the health and safety of our guests and employees and their families.
With this in mind and in light of current and local breaking news surrounding the corona virus pandemic, we have decided on the following business solution.
Both Halifax & Dartmouth Restaurants will be closed until the first of April at which time we will revaluate our hours of operation based on provincial recommendations.
During these changes in operation, we will be working diligently with our teams to make our environments as safe as possible through enhanced cleaning and sanitizing products and methods. We will be following all provincial and federal protocol in terms of practicing social distancing along with vigorous and frequent hand washing techniques supported by our hard-working front line and back of the house teams.
Third, while our restaurants navigate through uncharted territory and we can once again open our dining rooms, Steak and Stein will remain committed to our mission statement: “To consistently offer our guests a pleasant dining experience centered around value priced food in a warm and friendly atmosphere”.
